After studying wine making in Germany in the 1950s and teaching wine making in the U.S. since 1960s, Dr. Wolf established Conneaut Cellars Winery in 1982 in the beautiful family resort and historical area of Conneaut Lake. The winery produces over 7,000 cases of wine and performs all wine making operations on location with modern equipment and in a distinctive style compatible with the Lake Erie micro-climate. The wines cover a broad spectrum of tastes (25 choices from sweet to dry) from the farm wines of our grandparents through the noble Vinifera of world fame.
