Seven Oxen brandy is produced from our estate grown Zinfandel grapes. This small lot of hand-picked grapes was made into rosé, double distilled by our neighbor, Calwise Spirits Co., and aged for three years in a neutral French oak barrel. Our brandy is soft on the palate with a sweet character and notes of burnt caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and pear. Only one barrel produced.
Seven Oxen Estate Vineyard straddles the Templeton Gap and Willow Creek Sub AVAs of Paso Robles. Yields are kept low to guarantee the highest quality fruit possible and to maintain the health and longevity of the vines. The partially dry-farmed vineyard is maintained without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Seven Oxen Wines are hand crafted from our estate vineyard in very limited quantities.
