This double-distilled straight bourbon whiskey is bottled in partnership with 1814 Commemoration, Inc., to commemorates the Battle of Plattsburgh. On the land, fifteen hundred American defenders made up of soldiers, militiamen, and volunteers, stood against ten thousand hardened British soldiers that just returned from defeating Napoleon. On the lake, a small American fleet, with most of the ships constructed in as little as forty days prior, were up against warships from the most powerful navy in the world.. A British victory seemed inevitable, but fate had a different idea. It was the outcome no one expected and luck was the wildcard.
This 90-proof four-grain bourbon is made with New York corn, malted barley, rye, and wheat that carries notes of baked sweets, fresh corn, vanilla beans, wildflowers, and maple syrup.
