Bold and structured, the 2021 Resolute is a powerful red blend led by Aglianico and crafted for depth and ageability. The nose is richly layered with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, and plum, accented by soft pepper notes, a touch of leather, cedar, and subtle smoky undertones.
On the palate, intense flavors of cherry, blackberry, and raspberry unfold, accompanied by hints of dried cranberry and black currant. The midpalate is complete and complex, with generous layers of dark fruit. Firm yet balanced tannins carry through to a long, lingering finish, featuring bittersweet chocolate and a hint of vanilla from 14 months of aging in small French oak barrels (20% new).
Resolute is robust yet refined, with a rich texture and structure that will continue to evolve beautifully with further bottle aging. A compelling wine for lovers of dark, age-worthy reds.
