Sidewinder Rum combines the best of production methods. We start with a base of both sugarcane juice and molasses, distilling a spirit that whispers of ripe bananas, fresh cream, luscious butterscotch, and a hint of untamed earthiness. We then age this raw spirit in once-used Sidewinder whiskey barrels, adding layers of spice, warmth, and complexity to create a perfectly harmonious finish.
Sidewinder Spirits Company is a small, craft distillery named for the type of pocket watch with the winding post at three instead of twelve. The name and logo provide the links to our Occasio Winery, whose pocket watch defines the timeliness of the wine making process. In a complementary sense, Sidewinder invokes the timeless artisanship of craft spirit production.
