Seven different tannic English cider varieties comprise 80% of this cider with the balance being the English tart cider variety, Brown’s Apple. Those English tannic apples are Porter’s Perfection, Chisel Jersey, Dabinett, Cap of Liberty, Ellis Bitter, Somerset Redstreak, and Kingston Black with the Porter’s also adding a subtle tartness to this cider. The result of the diverse tannins and balanced acidity is a full-bodied, complex cider with a deliciously long finish. Great for fall and winter meals or by itself.
